Advent Carol Service

A reflective service for the start of Advent. With Advent Carols and readings all by candlelight

Cakes and Carols

Sunday 7 December, 3.00 - 5.30pm St Julian’s Church.

The chance to join in some carol and listen to others being performed. This is for everyone in the community to come and join in with, whatever age or background. Cake and refershments will be served.

St Julian’s Carol Service

Saturday 13 December, 6.30pm St Julian’s Church

A beautiful candlelit service with Carols and Bible readings to prepare for the joy of Christmas.

Christingle Service

Sunday 14 December, 4.00pm St Stephen’s Church

Bring the family along to this popular all age service. The Christingle remembers Jesus as the light coming into the world.

Quiet Christmas

Saturday 20 December, 4.00pm St Julian’s Church

Come and join us for a reflective service this Christmas, a place of calm and quiet in the busyness of the season.

Nativity Play in morning service

Sunday 21 December, 10.00 - 11.00am St Stephen’s Church

Come and join in with this special service where we will re-enact the Nativity Story during the morning service of Holy Communion. Costumes for children will be given out, or come dressed as a character from the story. All welcome.

Crib Services

Christmas Eve, 4.00pm St Stephen’s and St Julian’s churches

Running at the same time at each of our churches, our Crib Services are expecially for children. Together we unpack the Nativity story as we place all the characters into the stable helping us get ready for Christmas.

Midnight Mass

Christmas Eve, 11.30pm St Stephen’s Church

Celebrating the birth of Christ as the hour strikes Midnight! A service of hymns, readings and communion to welcome Jesus into our lives.

Christmas Day St Stephen’s

Thursday 25 December

8.00am - Holy Communion Service.  A quiet said service lasting 45 minutes using the traditional prayer book of the church.

10.00am - All Age Communion. Everyone is welcome to this service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. This service includes an all-age talk, readings, hymns and communion.

Christmas Day St Julian’s

Thursday 25 December

9.30am - All Age Communion. Everyone is welcome to our Christmas Day service with Holy Communion as we celebrate this special day together.
